Heart Mind Yoga is the 'vini' of yoga

'Vini' is an appropriate adaption of yoga for each person. Not a brand, just real yoga as it was always meant to be: Yoga wisdom given one-to-one with a foundation in therapeutic application.

Traditionally - and most beneficially - yoga is taught in stages and according to each person's current situation and circumstances. We are complex and unique human beings.

*T.K.V Desikachar (1938 - 2016) taught one-to-one yoga for 45 years and he established a non-profit Public Charitable Trust in Chennai, India (1976): A world-recognized centre of yoga and yoga therapy.

In the 70's and 80's he realised how yoga was being taught to people in groups and not keeping the student as the center of the practice. Because of this, Desikachar consistently urged teachers to find all ways possible to keep yoga appropriate and respectful to each person.

During his life-time he trained some of the finest yoga teachers across the World. Through his center in Chennai, and his teacher-training, Desikachar dedicated his life to promote the healing power of yoga.
